What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit this website. In this statement we also refer to similar technologies, such as pixels and temporary storage in your browser, as cookies.

On your first visit, our cookie banner asks for your consent. Necessary cookies are always active. We only place analytics and marketing cookies if you choose to allow them; until you make a choice, no data is sent to Google Analytics, Meta or LinkedIn. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via Change cookie settings or via “Cookies Settings” at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice for 6 months.

Necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for the website to work properly and securely. No consent is required for them.

  • Cookie choice – we store which cookies you have allowed, so we do not have to ask you on every visit. Duration: 6 months.
  • Form security – a Google service protects our forms against spam and abuse. Google receives technical data for this, such as your IP address.

Analytics cookies

Only with your consent. Redwise uses Google Analytics to gain insight into visitor numbers, pages visited and traffic sources, so we can improve the website and our campaigns. IP addresses are not stored. Google may also process data outside the EU, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

  • Google Analytics – distinguishes visitors and visits. Duration: up to 13 months.
  • Campaign source – remembers during your visit which ad or campaign brought you here, so we can pass it on when you click through to a vacancy. Deleted as soon as you close your browser.

Marketing cookies

Only with your consent. Redwise uses the Meta pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure which ads lead to website visits and applications, and to show our ads to the right people. Redwise and the relevant advertising party are jointly responsible for collecting and passing on this data. If you allow marketing cookies, Google Analytics may also use Google advertising data. How we share data for our advertising is explained in our privacy policy.

  • Meta pixel – recognises your browser to measure the results of our ads. Duration: 90 days. If you are logged in to a Meta account, Meta may also use its own cookies; see Meta’s cookie policy.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag – recognises your browser to measure the results of our ads. Duration: up to 6 months. If you are logged in to LinkedIn, LinkedIn may also use its own cookies; see LinkedIn’s cookie policy.
