The Arctic Vessel

The Arctic is built as a multi-purpose survey platform that provides optimal flexibility, short mobilization time, and efficient deployability. The ship is specifically designed and equipped for research operations, including both geotechnical and seismic surveys.

Efficient Propulsion

The Arctic features an extremely efficient and quiet diesel-electric propulsion and hull design. This over 51-meter-long vessel requires just over 250 kW of propulsion power to reach 8 knots, ensuring very low emissions and low daily operating costs.

Versatile Deployment Capabilities

At the rear of the main deck, there is a large area with doors that can fully open. The ship is equipped with a moonpool, 110 m² of free deck space, a side-mounted A-frame, a 5T crane, two towing davits and an extendable boom for placing a CPT on the seabed among other uses.
The versatile Arctic is reinforced for ice navigation (GL E) and is suitable for shallow water operations. The ship has 21 berths and can stay at sea for up to 45 continuous days.
